Time-in Menu
There are many ways to earn Time Credits and the list below will be developed regularly to promote new opportunities.   The activities on this list involve active participation - helping United Welsh to improve services, and making a positive difference to the community.   

The “time in” menu also includes ways of working directly in your community – e.g. gardening / community clean up events
.   These opportunities will be advertised on the website.

Residents Associations

 

Groups of local residents can meet up to look at how to deal with local issues and plan social events

Linkup editorial panel

Our newsletter is produced quarterly. You can have a say on what you feel should be included and write articles.

 

Voice4tenants executive member

 

Voice4tenants are independent of United Welsh. Executive members meet monthly to look at issues affecting tenants and campaign on behalf of tenants.

 

Tenant Inspectors

 

This is a new group who will be trained to inspect the services that United Welsh deliver. This can include mystery shopping and going onto our estates to talk to tenants.

 

100 Club survey and focus groups

 

This is a group who complete a range of surveys about our services. Focus groups are small discussion groups. You can select the areas you are interested in.

 

Completing surveys

 

We will send out surveys when you report a repair, move into a new home, experience anti social behaviour, and carry out a general satisfaction survey every two years.

 

Interview panels

 

You can sit on an interview panel to interview prospective United Welsh staff.

Estate agreements

 

Estate agreements are locally based and set out what your community considers acceptable behaviour.

 

Delivering Excellence Group

 

This group looks at what services our staff should provide to you and how this can be improved.

 

Living+ Forum

 

The Living+ Forum meets quarterly to look at issues affecting Living+ tenants.

 

Internet User Group

 

If you use our website you can feedback to our web team and help us to develop a really good website.

 

Reading Group

 

We would like a group of tenants to let us know if the materials we produce are clear and easy to understand.

 

Areas Improvement Group

 

If there is an issue of concern in you area we may ask you to be involved in plans to improve the area.

 

Scheme representative

 

If there is not enough interest in your area to set up a group you can be nominated by your neighbours to represent the area in which you live.

 

Estate inspections

 

Housing and repairs staff carry out inspections on our estates. You can be involved in these inspections.

 

Our Contracts

 

At United Welsh we often have contracts for grounds maintenance or cleaning. You can help to monitor these in the area you live.

 

Tenant Participation Monitoring Group

 

If you have more ideas about how we can involve tenants in the work we do, you can join this monthly discussion group on how to improve levels of tenant participation.

 

Board member

 

United Welsh’s Board meets monthly and overseas all the work that United Welsh does. You can have your say in running the organization.
