Competition
If you've ever fancied living in a house of the future then now's your chance. United Welsh and its partners have teamed up to provide the opportunity for two families to live in a house of the future for 12 months - absolutely rent free!

The two homes (Larch and Lime) were showcased at the 2010 National Eisteddfod in Ebbw Vale. The Larch in-particular is the first zero-carbon Passivhaus in the UK.

The competition is open to anyone living in Blaenau Gwent, or with a connection to the area.

The competition is being run to determine how well these houses perform whilst they are occupied. We'll be monitoring a range of factors including heating efficiency and fuel bills. All this information will feed into decisions around social house design in the future.
