About the areas - Llanbradach

Llanbradach sign

Llanbradach is a small village less than 3 miles north of Caerphilly with under 5000 residents. The village's coal mine was opened in the 1890's, achieved its peak in the 1930's, but closed in 1961. Some the mine buildings can still be seen behind the village.

The village boasts several pubs, a primary school, local shops, recreation ground, library, doctor's surgery, and a youth centre. Llanbradach memorial
