United Welsh Annual Conference - United Working in Wales

On Thursday 13th July United Welsh held its first annual conference at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff. The event was attended by some very high profile speakers and focused on the issue of cross-sector partnership working.

Representatives from a wide range of organisations were present including local authorities, NHS trusts, supporting agents, developers and housing organisations.

Tony Whittaker, Chief Executive of United Welsh said, “This is the first time we have run an annual conference and we are delighted with the response. We had some excellent speakers and Jason Mohammad from BBC Wales did a great job of chairing the whole event.

“Bringing together such a wide range of organisations should assist the process of more joined up working that is key if we are going to deliver more customer focused services for the people of Wales”.
