Housing and Community Services
This Department is
split into six teams. Three work on matters related to general needs
housing, one on services to older people (Living+), one on supported housing services, and one on community
services.
The work of the
three general needs housing teams is split on a geographic basis
with one serving Caerphilly, one Blaenau Gwent and one Cardiff. For
those areas each team deals with everything related to tenancy
management and reactive maintenance. These teams are supported by
Customer Services Advisers who are the first point of contact for
customers over the telephone and provide advice and information of a
general nature and also manage initial enquiries about housing and
deal with initial ordering of day to day repairs.
The Living+ team are
responsible for the development and management of new and existing
housing and related services for older people.
Supported Housing
Services manages the supported housing that we manage ourselves and
monitors and provides support to the managing partners who manage
the remainder of the supported housing projects.
Community Services
works to develop the Association’s approach to supporting
communities through promoting sustainability in terms of the
development, regeneration and management of general needs and
supported housing.
