Address Key
Social Issues For Communities We
are developing projects that really are the ones that are
important to tenants and the communities served by United
Welsh. We are doing this based on clear evidence of need and
community feedback.
Work in
partnership - With organizations
with who we share common cause. United Welsh cannot do a lot of
what is needed alone. We are building strong partnerships based
on mutual benefit with key organisations.
Plan and manage
community investment We are
committed to maximize resources (people, finance, land and
buildings) needed to make a difference. We are striving to make
existing United Welsh investment work harder by:
- Encouraging
our partners to commit
- Funding mutually beneficial projects
- Working with partners to win new
investment.
Inspire and engage employees, customers and
suppliers United Welsh is
a major player in the area. Its network of
tenant and resident groups, staff team, community partners and
private sector supply chain - all adds up to a network of
several hundred people. A major challenge is to inspire, engage
and harness the collective power of this group and to find ways
of enabling them to make a positive contribution where it is
needed most.
Measure
and Evaluate
We are committed to measuring the difference we are making in
our communities. A particular challenge will be to put a value
to impacts on individuals, their families and communities that
are often seen as soft outcomes. |
